The 2024-2027 Canadian Centre for Professional Legal Education (CPLED) Strategic Plan is now available on our website. The Strategic Plan provides direction from the Board of Directors on the long-term vision for growth and innovation within CPLED.

Our three strategic priorities are:

• Deliver Outstanding Competency-Based Legal Education – In collaboration with strategic partners, CPLED delivers, through its Practice Readiness Education Program (PREP) and skills-based legal courses, highly regarded and recognized programs because learners acquire and demonstrate the necessary skills to succeed in the legal profession. CPLED sets and exceeds legal education industry standards.
• Pursue Quality Growth Opportunities Through Relevant Partnerships in the Legal Community – CPLED pursues new opportunities, delivering courses and services that add value to the legal profession. Through strategic alliances and by understanding and meeting students’ needs, CPLED expands its influence and establishes itself as a leader in the legal education community.
• Optimize Operational Capability – CPLED achieves sustainable growth by continuously improving its processes and practices and optimizing the use of resources and talents to deliver exceptional outcomes.
