I am an internationally trained lawyer with a B.A./LLB from Panjab University, and I have completed my NCA process through Foreign Trained Lawyer’s Program at the University of Calgary. Prior to moving to Canada in May 2023, I practiced for five years as a litigator in a fellow common law country (India), at various levels of courts, namely the District Court, Chandigarh (similar to provincial courts here) and the Punjab & Haryana High Court (the Court of Appeal). During my time in practice, I developed an understanding of how to effectively manage client files and communicate with clients, and I gained experience in real estate, family and criminal law. I successfully negotiated out-of-court settlements and drafted a variety of contracts and rent agreements. I am a permanent resident in Canada and look forward to building my legal practice here.
